Stage I Voluntary Water Shortage Condition Lifted

Last November, Iredell Water encouraged our customers to cut down their non-essential use of water because the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) had designated Iredell County as an area of severe drought.  More than 50% of the state was either in moderate, severe, or extreme drought at the time.

This might be obvious to say because of the recent heavy rains, but Iredell Water is lifting our request for our customers to reduce their non-essential use of water.

We appreciate the understanding we received from our customers and thank them for their assistance the last couple of months.
